Welcome to Fry’s Pharmacy

We are a proudly locally-owned and operated community pharmacy, conveniently located in a state-of-the art medical centre in Richmond, Nelson.

Our building contains GPs, specialists, physiotherapists, Med Lab, audiology, optometrists, dentists, and a café. Through the integration of healthcare professionals along with diagnostic services, it creates a unique team environment that enables us to provide you and your family with the highest level of care possible—with the added convenience of everything being under one roof and plenty of free parking.

Pharmacist Scott Fry leads a highly skilled and qualified team of dispensing and retail staff members, all being available to provide a wide range of​ pharmaceutical and retail advice and services to our customers.

We commenced trading in 2011 ​and in 2014 merged with another locally owned and operated pharmacy, McGlashen Pharmacy (located in the centre of Richmond). ​This merger has allowed us to optimise and streamline our resources, enabling us to give the best possible service at the most affordable prices to our customers.

Scott Fry and Andrew McGlashen are proud locals. They grew up together with a strong family history in the area, and are thrilled to be able to raise their young families in their hometown whilst serving their local community.
